WHY EVEN GIVE THE OPPOSITION A PLATFORM?
The authority of platforms
Everyone has the right to discuss there ideas, regardless of their merit. A line must be drawn, when we deny these platforms merit if they deal with a scientific problem and are only illogical conjectures. Even so, platforms that appeal to populism, grow more rapidly in our world than those based in science. That is why advocacy is important. Everyone is not guaranteed an unopposed platform. Educated people and the scientific community have a duty to the Earth to oppose those opinions, which are not based in science and have the potential to shape our further for the worse.
HOW TO CHOOSE
It is no secret the the source of the beliefs of the opposition is nationalism. Climate initiatives hard mass production by putting limits and taxes on their carbon emissions. Politicians who a climate skeptics do not have any scientific evidence and only act in the best interests of industries which harm the environment.  Economic wise, it may make sense to deny climate change but in the long run the costs outweigh the benefits.
