On April 22, 2016, the world took its largest step in a cleaner world. Every country except for two signed a pact for a green future. Now, however, the hard earned progress is at risk, as anti-climate change rhetoric is growing in American politics, culminating in the US proposed withdraw from the Paris Climate Agreement.

With his populous and America first rhetoric, President Donald Trump had started a movement of climate change skeptics. Claiming that climate change is a hoax meant to harm American industry. These claims remain unsubstantiated, yet he still has convinced large swaths of people otherwise.

Why it matters to believe in climate change.

Though we cannot tell you what to believe, it is important to understand that even though every opinion deserves to be heard, when dealing with scientific matters, certain platforms carry more weight than others. Ultimately, however, the choice is yours to make.
